You might think, “A tank is a tank.”
But if we’re talking about domestic hot water tanks manufactured by Thermal Leverage, there’s more than meets the eye.
Consider the skill that goes into making one of our Thermal Leverage hot water tanks. Each tank meets the highest design, engineering, manufacturing, and quality control standards. There’s no such thing as cutting corners.
And because your building’s needs may be different than those of the building down the street, we tailor-make our tanks in custom sizes and with custom materials to fit unique spatial, performance, and mechanical requirements that standard off-the-shelf units cannot satisfy. Moreover, our tanks can either be shop-built or field-built.
“How do we do it?,” you may ask. The answer is simple: Thermal Leverage has over 20 years of experience and expertise in the field. Our engineering know-how was forged in the aerospace flight control industry working on planes like the NASA space shuttle, F16, F22 and B2 bomber. It’s hard to find a better background than that!
About our tanks
- Our standard Horizontal and Vertical Tanks are made of carbon steel, carbon steel with special interior coatings, or stainless steel. They are designed, built, and certified in accordance with NYC, ASME, and UL standards.
- Our standard Rectangular Tanks are made of carbon steel, carbon steel with special interior coatings, and stainless steel containment can be provided on request. They can be built as UL-142, ASME, and/or NYC alternate approved designs.
What’s more, all Thermal Leverage tanks are not just for domestic water – they can be configured for oil storage or condensate service, too!
Thermal Leverage also offers packaged tank systems – feed water pump systems, blowdown tanks, condensate receivers, and condensate cooler/domestic water preheaters.
